Art Of The Interview
If you are interviewing a person there are a few things you can do to make it go smoothly. First of all, jot down a list of questions that you would like to ask them and leave some space to write down the answers. Next, read up on them if possible–learn something that you can begin the conversation with when you begin the interview. A couple of important factors to remember include asking them to spell their name for you and finding out their title so you can reference them in the article.
Keep in mind that even if this is your first interview ever–the person on the other end of the phone doesn’t know that unless you tell them. Act confident, have a plan and double-check your facts and everything should be smooth sailing!
