Bartering for Services
As a freelancer, you might not have a lot of money to throw at a web designer, business card creator, logo designer, CPA, or any other service provider for your business. You know what you do have a bunch of to throw at them? Writing ability.
Why not trade your writing prowess for their services? Offer to do a few blog posts, edit their website, or rewrite some of their web pages in exchange for certain services.
Just be sure to have a very clear agreement about what actions fulfill each person’s end of the bargain–and put it in writing.
